Join us in helping the many of lives impacted by Hurricane Harvey through the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.
Let us give hope to the many lives affected by Hurricane Harvey. As a team, we have organized a Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund to help support those in Texas impacted by the devastating aftermath of the storm.
In Texas’ darkest of days, the American Red Cross continues to be a bright light, aiding thousands displaced by the hurricane. Dedicated workers are working hard to keep people safe, as well as providing food, emotional support and other necessities.
The torrential downpours may have stopped in Texas but massive flooding continues. With widespread areas still inaccessible, the full scope of devastation is still unknown. While communities remain submerged by Hurricane Harvey, American Red Cross workers are by the sides of survivors, offering relief, comfort and support.
The American Red Cross is working tirelessly to give aid to the tens of thousands impacted by the storm. With over 2,000 Red Cross workers helping on the ground, more than 250,000 meals and snacks have been served, as well as shelter supplies for over 700,000 people mobilized with more en route.
As a Crescent Hotel & Marriott Hotel, we have members of our work family impacted directly, while some of our associates have direct family impacted in the area. The Marriott Syracuse Downtown has joined the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, which will enable the Red Cross to prepare for, respond to and help residents recover from this disaster. To encourage others to donate, we will match the donations received up to $2,000.
Our hearts are with Texas and all those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. If you’d like to donate to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, collection boxes will be placed at the front desk and in all of our outlets.
To donate online, visit redcross.org/donate and select “Hurricane Harvey.” For checks, write “Hurricane Harvey” in the memo line and mail to American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37864, Boone, IA 50037-0864. Contributions may also be sent to your local Red Cross chapter.
