Enjoy the Stan Colella Orchestra in our beautifully restored Lobby, the DeSantis Orchestra in the Grand Ballroom, Atlas Band in the Persian Terrace and the Mere Mortals in the Finger Lakes Ballroom. Along with joyful music, guests can also expect Casino Gaming Tables, Photo Booths and Horse & Carriage Rides.

Your ticket selection reserves your table and seat for dinner in the designated ballroom of your choice. After dining with us, your tickets include access to all entertainment and activities throughout the night.

Our New Year’s Eve hotel package in Syracuse will include Cocktail Hour starting at 7:30pm with a Premium 5 Hour Open Bar, Buffet Dinner, Late Night Snack and a Champagne Toast at Midnight. The event will end at 12:30am.

If you’d like to begin your celebrations a little earlier, we encourage you to join us for pre-event festivities that will take place in the Lobby from 4:30pm-7:30pm. Our pre-event celebrations will include Ballroom Dancing, Social Games, Best Dressed Award and live music.

Freddy Fest at Palace Theater pays tribute to iconic ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ Franchise.

Oh, what a frightfully fun way to spend a fall evening in Syracuse. For many, the crisp fall evenings are best spent curled up watching a spooky film. If you fall into that category, Freddy Fest at Palace Theater is exactly what you have been looking for!

Horror fans and movie buffs alike will love the all-day event, Freddy Fest, at Palace Theater on Saturday, October 14. The film festival in Syracuse is dedicated to the ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ franchise and all films from the franchise will be shown on original 35 mm film, with a few exceptions. The movie marathon will not include “Wes Craven’s New Nightmare” or the 2010 remake of ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street.’

As the official hotel of Syracuse University Athletics, we welcome all Syracuse Orange fans to join us for our free tailgating party held prior to each SU football home game. The fun will start three hours prior to kickoff! We will be closing off One block of Warren Street (between Harrison and Madison) during the party for live music, games, food trucks and an outdoor bar.

Eleven Waters and Shaughnessy’s Pub will have an outdoor bar and food service and several local food trucks will also be onsite to help you fuel up before the game. Local musicians, including several area high school marching bands, will provide entertainment each week. ESPN will broadcast its pregame show, featuring Brent Axe, live from Shaughnessy’s Pub during the party. It’s going to be great fun for all fans!

Fans and party guests who park in our hotel garage can also enjoy a free roundtrip shuttle bus transportation to the Carrier Dome. Shuttle service for other guests will be $5.

Onondaga Historical Association Recognizes 35 Years of Syracuse Jazz Fest.

All that jazz! Take a journey through 35 years of the history of Syracuse Jazz Fest. The Onondaga Historical Association is offering a visual exhibit located on the second floor’s west gallery at the OHA Museum located just minutes away from us in downtown Syracuse. It’s a wonderful way to spend the afternoon, especially for music lovers visiting with us this summer and fall. The exhibit is free and will run through October 3, 2017.

What does the OHA Museum showcase? Visitors can view highlights of the Syracuse Jazz Fest, from the different venues, to music industry superstars and jazz legends, as well as homegrown musical talent. With a variety of musical tastes that exist in the Central New York area, Syracuse Jazz Fest has touched almost all of them.

Take a walk down memory lane! Just a few of the many wonderful things that you will be able to view include Dizzy Gillespie’s bulging cheeks while playing trumpet, Jean Luc Ponty’s electrifying violin, B.B. King’s guitar Lucille, Buckwheat Zydeco’s accordion, Wynton Marsalis’ big band style orchestra, or Kenny G’s saxophone; or maybe singing to the songs of Aretha Franklin, the Doobie Brothers, Boz Scaggs, Natalie Cole, or Smokey Robinson.
