Opened in 1924, the Hotel Syracuse was the stunning standout of Central New York hotels for many years before its closing in 2004. Countless weddings and other social events, as well as the meetings of many business groups and conventions, were held in its Persian Terrace, Grand Ballroom and other function rooms. Today we are recreating the grandeur of this historic property as the Hotel Syracuse becomes the Marriott Syracuse Downtown.

As we approach the holiday season in Syracuse, we are dreaming of all of the amazing events we will be hosting this time next year and hope that you will consider our property as your event venue in Syracuse for your end of year occasions!

We have over 37,000 square feet of flexible event space just waiting for you. We have an IACC Conference Center with eight breakout rooms, six private dining/meeting rooms and three lovely ballrooms, as well.

• Empire Room – 2,940 square feet
